The A77 has been closed after a road traffic collision involving two motorcycles a short while ago.
The police are on the scene, at the Shallochpark roundabout just south of Girvan, where the incident occurred this afternoon shortly before 2pm.
It is not yet known whether anyone was injured, we will update on that as soon as the information is available.
Motorists are advised to take an alternative route.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.55pm on Tuesday, 11 May, we received a report of a serious road crash on the A77 at the Shalloch Park roundabout involving two motorcycles. Emergency services are currently in attendance. The road has been closed and local diversions are in place."
