Man found dead at harbour point, Saltcoats
A man has been found dead at Harbour Point in Saltcoats.
Police and coastguard attended the scene at around 5pm this evening.
The body of a man was found and his death is being treated as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5pm on Friday, 14 May, a man was found dead at Harbour Point, Saltcoats."
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish his identity and the circumstances surrounding his death."
"Police are treating the death as unexplained."
