A man and woman in their late thirties were found dead in an Irvine flat.
Police were called out to flats in the South Vennel area of Bourtreehill on Friday afternoon after the sudden deaths of the pair.
Police say a report has now been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and confirmed today the deaths are being treated as unexlained but not suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of the sudden deaths of two people - a woman and a man, both aged 38 - within a property at South Vennel in Irvine around 2.55pm on Friday, May 28.
"Their deaths are being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
