Diamond couple celebrate special 60-year wedding anniversary
A DIAMOND couple from Irvine recently celebrated a special wedding anniversary after 60 happy years together.
Robert and Isabella Thomson [nee Hollas] tied the knot during a beautiful ceremony in St Mary’s Church back in June 10 1961 – with their wedding reception held in the then Eglinton Arms Hotel.
The couple enjoyed marking the special day together on Thursday last week – also receiving their card from the Queen sending her congratulations and best wishes to the couple on the special occasion.
