A daughter is appealing to thank two women who helped after their beloved dog Dudley passed away during a walk in the Gailes.
Dudley and Dodger were being walked by Christine McLeish from the Beach Park along to the Gailes area when Dudley sadly died.
Amid the shock and pain, two women, one in a car and one on a bycycle, both stopped to console the owner and helped get Dudley's body to the car.
Daughter Sophie McLeish has since appealed to residents to find out who the women were and thank them after their kindness to her mum, writing: "Thank you will never be enough for what you done for my family today and I hope this post reaches you both."
Sophie told the Times: "I'm just hoping it can reach the two lovely women as my mum was in too much of a state and never got their names.
"I would love for them to know how much we appreciate what they done this morning."
