A young man who injured a woman after grabbing her throat during an attack in her home awaits sentence in custody.

Zaher Hamsho, 20, pled guilty to assaulting and injuring the woman under the deletion of words on the indictment after the incident at address in Hayocks Road, Stevenston between August 23 and August 24 last year.
