Youngsters across Kilwinning headed to the town's Sports Club today (Wednesday) to enjoy all the fun of the North Ayrshire Youth Festival.
The festival, run by young people and supported by the team of North Ayrshire Youth Services, was visiting towns this week to offer a day of fun activities.
It had formerly been a two-day event held at Kelburn Estate but following the pandemic it was decided to take the festival on the road.
So they started off in Irvine on Monday at the Redburn Community Hub before heading to Largs on Tuesday and Kilwinning Sports Club today.
Tomorrow the festival tour heads to Ardrossan Community Sports Hub before going to Kilbirnie on Friday.
The highlight of the tour for many young people has been the revamped Mobile Youth Centre which has recently been given a makeover.
Inside the Mobile Youth Centre young people could try Virtual Reality games and hear about youth groups in their area.
Outside, there was a range of activities on offer, from archery to football, fitness sessions with the team from North Ayrshire Active Schools and even enjoy a mocktail at the Tiki Bar.
Community Education Worker Damian Taylor said: "We had thought it might rain so to get glorious sunshine is fantastic.
"It's a great event and all the young people and the team work hard to make it fun for everyone."
