A POP -UP community uniform swap shop has been in such demand that the organisers have decided to host two more events.

The uniform shop at Cranberry Moss Community Centre was set up by Dana Milligan who runs the group, Random Acts of Kindness.

And when Dana asked families to help by donating old pieces of school uniform to the group, she was inundated with clothes.

From school blazers to shirts, trousers, skirts, gym wear and shoes, the community centre in Pennyburn is full to capacity with clothes that will help families in the area save money kitting out their children from the new term.

Dana, of Pennyburn, said: “We have decided to keep the school pop up shop open for the next three weeks to help families .

“Anyone looking for school stuff can access the pop up shop on a Thursday between 12pm and 7pm and while there is no booking system for people to come along this time, we are following strict social distancing rules at the centre to keep everyone safe.”
