Body found in police search confirmed as missing Beith man
The body of a man from Beith who was reported missing this week has been found.
Police confirmed today that 52-year-old Allan Ewing was tragically found dead yesterday, Wednesday, August 25. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Mr Ewing was last seen around 12 noon on Monday, August 23 near to the cemetery on Kings Road. His disappearance prompted police to call on the public's assistance to help trace him.
A Police Spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm Allan Ewing, reported missing from Beith, was found deceased on Wednesday, 25 August, 2021.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious."
