A WEEKEND of workshops, events and showcases is set to take place as part of this year’s Tidelines Book Festival in North Ayrshire.
The festival will be held partly online, however in-person events are due to make a return. A Flash Fiction Showcase will be held on Friday,
September 24, sharing work from Ayrshire storytellers specialising in short story writing.
An online journaling workshop with Alison Craig is scheduled for 2pm on Saturday September 25, with tickets costing £8.
Author Graeme Macrae Burnet will launch his new novel, Case Study, at a live event in Irvine on Saturday night.
On Sunday September 26, the festival will hold a ‘Love, Ayrshire’ event to celebrate stories set in the area.
There will also be A Touch of Gothic: an
atmospheric video of
author, Hayleigh Barclay, reading from her highly rated ‘Cup of Murder’ novel.
Further information on each event and details on booking can be found by visiting the Tidelines Facebook page. Look out for further updates in the Herald.
