AN IRVINE man who bent a teenager's arm back until it broke to his permanent impairment awaits sentence.

Terry Fleck, 39, was found guilty of the brutal attack on the then 17-year-old in his home address at Dalrymple Drive, Irvine when his case was called last week.

Her Majesty’s Advocate’s criminal indictment states Fleck assaulted the young man by repeatedly pushing him on the body before throwing him to the ground on April 24 last year.

He then bent the teenager’s left arm causing it to break to his severe injury, permanent disfigurement and permanent impairment.

Fleck was found guilty of the offence when he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court for trial last week [Wednesday, October 14].

Bail was continued and Fleck will return to court for sentencing later this year after social work reports.
