Irvine and Kilwinning runners were glad to be back raising money to fight cancer during the return of the town’s big Race for Life event.
Socially distanced measures were in place to keep participants safe as they raised money to help Cancer Research UK funded scientists find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, saving lives as the charity fights back from the impact of the pandemic.
All 400 Race for Life events across the UK were cancelled last year during the COVID-19 pandemic.
