Irvine Royal Academy pupils have created a new lectern to mark a milestone year for the town’s Incorporated Tradesmen.
Deacon Convener Donald Wilson, Collector Scott Gallacher, and Clerk David Whitelaw attended Irvine Royal Academy on Wednesday, December 15 to meet with Dane Love and Alan Atkinson of the school’s technical department to receive a gift of a new lectern.
Mr Gallacher said: “This beautiful and very practical item was manufactured in the school and donated to the Convener’s Court in celebration of the Incorporation’s 375th Anniversary.
“The Craftsmen expressed their delight at the quality of the lectern and look forward to using it.”
