Litter-picking legends clear up 20 sacks of rubbish from riverway
Eco-minded volunteers got together again at the weekend to clear up 20 bags of rubbish from Irvine.
Members of Irvine Clean-up Crew got together for clean up the areas by the riverside at Lamont Drive on Saturday [January 22] – with the group thanking all the volunteers.
A spokesperson said: “Big thanks to everyone who came to the River Paths Clean up at Lamont Drive this morning, including our two new recruits and others not in the photo.
"20 bags of litter and loads of fly-tipping from the paths and riverbank.
"Great work!”
Irvine Clean-up Crew will meet again this Sunday to clean up the South Beach at 2pm.
