An Ayrshire vets is taking in donations of cat and dog food to be transported to those in need in Ukraine.
Ivybank Vets are also looking for donations of pet carriers.
Due to the ever-changing picture of what is happening, they require any donations to be dropped off by 11am tomorrow (Friday) morning.
Donations can be dropped off at any of the vet's four locations.
Collections sites are as follows:
- Irvine - 2 Low green road, Irvine, KA12 8RA.
- Kilwinning - 17-19 Byres Road, Kilwinning, KA13 6JY.
- West kilbride - 111 Main street, West kilbride, KA23 9AR.
- Kilmarnock - 1 Murray Place, Kilmarnock, KA3 7JR
They will then pass the donations on to a main collection site, who will then take them to those most in need.
Any donations of food will need to be 2kg or less.
