Ardrossan boxer Brooke Neely travelled to Romania last week to compete in the Brasov Open boxing tournament - where she emerged victorious.
Brooke, 16, a pupil at St Matthew’s Academy, splits her training between her own Irvine Vineburgh Boxing Club and Boxing Scotland’s elite boxing group - whose members joined her on the trip to Romania.
On her way to victory Brooke defeated the Hungarian national champion Pap Kata via a unanimous decision in the semi-final.
She then fought two time European silver medalist and Spanish national champion Laura Barcelo in the finals again winning by unanimous decision to take gold.
Congratulations Brooke!
