LITTER-PICKERS have been praised after collecting more than 40 bags of rubbish from a Kilwinning park.
Kilwinning Litter Picker organiser Donald Reid said: “Last weekend we had a great team effort with 2nd Kilwinning Boys Brigade junior and company section collecting 45 bags at Almswall Park.
“I’m so grateful to those who are dealing with areas where their work never stops, like at Kilwinning Community Sports Club I’ve been asked to enact some more partnership working after games and training by clubs to ensure they tidy up after their sessions.
“We have put up our clean up banner in Mcgavin Park but we still rely on volunteers to help up keep it clean as our work here never ends. As always happy to help any group or individuals with loans of litter pickers and a supply of bags. Just sign up at our Facebook page and get in touch. Thank you all in the group for your wonderful efforts.”
