
IRVINE’S own Erin Cuthbert made sure that her’s was a double with a simply stunning goal as her Chelsea side emerged victorious in the final of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
The Scotland attacker picked up the ball some 25 yards from goal, before unleashing an inch perfect effort which crept over the Manchester City goalkeeper, clipping the underside of the bar on its way into the top corner.
The goal put her side 2-1 up in the match, before they were pegged back in the game’s last minute - before winning 3-2 in extra time.
