Newtown Men’s Shed praised as national group visit Bourtreehill base
Irvine Newtown Men’s Shed has been going from strength-to-strength with the national association praising the team after a visit to the Bourtreehill hub last week.
A spokesperson said: “SMSA [The Scottish Men’s Shed Association] visited Irvine Newtown Mens Shed today [Tuesday, May 17].
"They are rattling through their jobs list continuing to raise their profile in the community and bringing social value to Bourtreehill.
"Their timber storage is full thanks to donations from Persimmon Homes and North Ayrshire Council."
