A KILWINNING woman allegedly chased a 15-year-old boy in the town centre with a blade as well as spitting on a girl’s face
Laurie Miller, 40, is accused of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, uttering threats and brandishing a knife in Kilwinning’s Main Street on August 15, 2020.
It’s alleged Ms Miller assaulted a 15-year-old boy by spitting on him and pursuing him while in possession of a knife.
It’s alleged she also assaulted a girl aged 15 by spitting at her and then striking her face.
She also faces a fourth charge of allegedly possessing a blade.
Ms Miller, of Fergushill Road, Kilwinning, pleaded not guilty to the charges when the case called at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Trial was set for later in the year and bail was continued.
