New Cumnock’s Afton Eagles Explorer Scouts took part in a training camp at the Scouts Scotland centre in Lochgoilhead recently.
Members had a fantastic weekend doing outdoor activities including kayaking, raft-building, climbing, abseiling and gorge walking.
Explorer Scout Leader, Iain Burgoyne, said: “A great time was had by all who attended.
“Well done to all our young members. Another successful week end of fun and adventure.”
It was the latest in a busy programme of activities for the group this year; back in April they joined more than 500 other Explorer Scouts from all over Scotland at a training camp at Templars Park in Aberdeen.
