Irvine’s Seniors Forum hosted an open day for residents last month with a selection of groups setting up stalls after lockdown.
The group hosted the open and information day on Tuesday, May 31 in the Volunteer Rooms.
Chairperson Rosemary Byrne said: “The event was more successful than we could have hoped for with around 25 info stalls from Money Matters to Age Scotland, leisure activities, care services, NHS, community food baskets and hubs.
"We had music, lunch and some singing and dancing. Coming out of the pandemic and seeing the numbers coming through the door was brilliant and much needed, we can’t wait for our next event.”
