A POLICE appeal has successfully traced a 14-year-old girl who had been missing since Saturday, July 16.
POLICE officers in Fife had made a plea yeasterday, July 20, for help from Ayrshire residents to trace Emma Goddard.
Wmma, who is also known as Aster, had not been seen since Saturday, July 16, when she left an address in the Waverley Drive area of Glenrothes at around 10pm.
It was believed she may have travelled to the Blackpool area, but police said she also had links to Irvine.
Police Scotland confirmed she had been traced earlier this morning, July 21.
A spokesperson said: "Emma/Aster Goddard (14) who was reported missing from Glenrothes has been traced. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
