A ONE time owner of popular Irvine venue The Ship Inn celebrated her 100th birthday in the town on Friday, August 5.
Agnes 'Nan' Bryson has lived in Irvine for nearly 70 years now, and was once the proud owner of the historic 'oldest pub in Irvine' which dates back to 1567.
Nan enjoyed her birthday celebrations with an afternoon tea surrounded by some close friends at Irvine's Small Talk cafe.
She also, of course, receieved her special birthday card from the Queen, which she certainly seemed to enjoy.
She completed her birthday celebrations by meeting someone very special - great grandson Alfie Mason, who is only four months old.
Many happy returns from all at the Times Agnes!
