Parents of North Ayrshire school pupils are being urged by North Ayrshire Council to sign up for their cashless payment system ahead of the new school year.

Implemented last October, the iPayimpact system allows parents of pupils in primary and secondary schools to pay for school meals as well as purchase things such as trips, events, and hoodies.

Users can sign up via iPayimpact.co.uk and parents can use the app to order food in advance, monitor their child’s meals, and help their child skip queues at school.

Councillor Scott Davidson said: “The school holidays are almost over and our young people will shortly be going back to the classroom.

“For those who haven’t yet signed up to iPayimpact, this is the perfect opportunity, just in time for the new term starting.

“The process of signing up is very simple and ensures parents can be in greater control of what their children get for school lunch, as well as making other school payments more efficient.”

The system is accessible on desktops, PCs, tablets, or mobile phones and allows users to review their payments, purchase history, and current balance.

High school pupils will be able to download an app or use kiosks in school buildings to pre-order meals and skip queues at lunchtime.
