SCHOOLS across North Ayrshire are reopening today (August 18) as pupils return to the classrooms for the start of the new term.
The summer holidays have passed (already?!) and children are joining up with their new classmates - or being reunited with playground pals.
Here at the Times, we'd love to help you share that first day buzz - so, if you've taken any fab photos of your wee one starting out in P1 or making the step up to secondary school in the Irvine, Kilwinning, Stewarton or eslewhere in North Ayrshire, then send them in for a chance to have them featured in an upcoming edition of the paper.
