Ayrshire Hospice’s biggest community fundraiser Go Purple is back.
The annual event, which turns Ayrshire purple to support the local end of life charity, takes place on Friday, October 14 and the Hospice are looking for people to get involved.
Schools, businesses, community groups, workplaces and friends groups can all join in, and there has previously been fundraising activities such as bake sales, wear purple days at work and leg waxing
Claire Stuart-Paulin, Senior Fundraiser, said: “Go Purple Day is a very popular event and has been fantastically supported by the Ayrshire community.
“Over the last decade the level of support has been phenomenal for Go Purple.
"The Fundraising team love getting out and about across Ayrshire to visit supporters taking part and getting involved.
“You can take part in the usual way and this year we’re also introducing a brand new Facebook challenge – Star Jumps for October where you can take on the challenge to complete 100 star jumps a day throughout the month.
"It’s easy to do and can help you get fit.”
