POLICE in Ayrshire have thanked the public after successfully tracing a 29-year-old woman reported missing from Irvine.
Melanie Gibson had been missing from the Carron Place area of Castlepark since around 2.40pm on Tuesday, September 27.
North Ayrshire police then confirmed this morning, September 30, that Melanie had been traced safe and well.
A police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that missing person Melanie Gibson has been traced safe and well.
"Thank you to everyone who assisted in sharing our appeal."
