A SEX offender is accused of breaching a court order by allegedly deleting records of calls and text messages from his phone.
Gary Dryden, of Katrine Place in Irvine, was made subject to a sexual offences prevention order granted at the High Court in Glasgow in April 2018.
The order prohibited the 23-year-old from deleting his web browsing history or other records of calls, text messages, images or other communications on any device he owns.
However, between May and June 2021 at his home address and elsewhere, he is said to have breached the terms of the order without reasonable excuse by deleting records of calls and text messages from a device belonging to him.
He pleaded not guilty to the single charge and a trial date has been set for January 2023.
