POLICE have confirmed a missing Irvine man who had not been seen since Wednesday has been "traced safe and well".
Ayrshire cops issued a public appeal for information to help trace Joseph Bleakley, 36, who was last seen on November 16.
At that time, he was spotted by family in Warrix Avenue in the town.
Officers said extensive enquiries had been carried out to locate Joseph, however, attempts to trace him had so far proved unsuccessful. They added that his family were growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
However, in an update this morning (Friday), police said: "Thanks to everyone who shared our information, 36-year-old Joseph Bleakley, missing from Irvine, since Wednesday, has been traced safe and well."
