A THIEF has made away with an Audi RS4 car after an alleged break-in at a property in Stewarton.

The incident happened at a property on Fairways in the town around 2pm on Wednesday, December 7.

Police say entry the the house was forced and a number of items were stolen, including the keys for a black Audi RS4 estate car, registration E7 GJH, which was then taken from outside the house.

The vehicle is yet to be recovered and officers believe the vehicle will have been driven in the direction of the M77 following the incident.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone who may have information on the break in to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Sarah Holland of Kilmarnock Police Station said: “We would urge anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the area to get in touch.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the Audi being driven on the road after the incident or who may have dashcam footage which could help our enquiries.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 1706 of December 7, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
