North Ayrshire Council is showing their support for Ayrshire Hospice’s Light Up a Life Christmas campaign.

To promote the Hospice’s virtual Christmas trees - which have been decorated with stars donated by supporters - the council has brandished the campaign’s logo in front of each Christmas tree throughout North Ayrshire.

Through the online campaign the hospice invites the public to dedicate a star on one of its trees in memory of someone important to them – no matter their connection to the hospice.

Provost Anthea Dickson said: “North Ayrshire Council is very proud to support Ayrshire Hospice, especially at this time of year when many families will be thinking of someone special they have lost.

“By supporting the Light Up A Life campaign you could really make a difference to the incredible work the Hospice does.

“I would encourage everyone to back the Hospice by dedicating a star in honour of a loved one and making a donation.”

Ayr based company Owen Kerr Signs produced the Light Up a Life campaign banners that can be seen at the Christmas trees around North Ayrshire.
