Janey Godley: Not Dead Yet at the Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock – February 8 and 9

The Scottish stand-up is coming to Kilmarnock with a new show that celebrates her win over the ovarian cancer she was diagnosed with in 2021.

Janey will be supported by comedian Ashley Storrie, host of BBC Radio Scotland’s Friday nights, and a frequent guest on Breaking The News.

The Ayrshire Lads at The Gaiety’s Main Theatre – February 9 and 10

Ayrshire stars Jai McDowall (BGT Winner), The MacDonald Brothers (fourth place in the X Factor), Jeremy Levif (The Voice semi-finalist), and Blair Gilmour (The Voice Kids semi-finalist) are coming together for one collaborative show hosted by Des Clarke.

Alongside musical performances, the Lads will tell the story of their musical careers and the show will also feature a set from Irvine comedian Billy Kirkwood.

The Best Laid Schemes of Mice & Murder at Sorn Village Hall and Barrhill Memorial Hall – February 9 and 10 respectively

Scotland’s “leading” murder mystery company – Can You Catch the Killer – are taking their interactive show to Sorn and Barrhill.

The special Robert Burns themed play lets the audience solve the mystery of the murder of a descendant of the bard by interrogating suspects, putting clues together, and making accusations.

The Jersey Beats: Oh What a Nite at the Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock – February 12

A tribute to the iconic Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, this tribute will feature hits from the group as well as doo-wop inspired versions of modern hits.

Hosted by Leye D Johns, this show will not just feature music but choreography and comedy.

Limelight: Mickey 9s + Support at Venue 38, Ayr - February 11

The alternative four-piece from Glasgow blend are currently on tour for their latest album 'MODERN KUNST' as they bring their show to Ayr’s iconic venue.

Blending elements of dance, punk and disco into one unique genre, the group is well known throughout the Glasgow music scene.

Their Ayr show will be supported by bands Pelikan Rogue and Local Authority.

Madama Butterfly – Giacomo Puccini – Ukrainian National Opera – February 15

Performed by Ukraine’s Dnipro Opera, the UK premier tour of the show will be sung in Italian with English surtitles and features a live Orchestra comprised of over 30 musicians.

Set in Japan at the dawn of the twentieth century, the tragedy tells the story of an American naval officer and his young Japanese bride.
