A MAN was taken to hospital for treatment after being injured in an alleged assault over the weekend.
Ayrshire police are appealing for information from the public following the incident in Warrix Avenue on Saturday night, March 4.
According to police, a 34-year-old man was injured and taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment after the disturbance between 11pm and midnight.
Detective Constable Sandy McBreen of CID said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed a disturbance in Warrix Avenue late on Saturday evening to get in touch.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 0010 of March 5, 2023.”
