NEW facilities have been made available in a Killwinning store - including some Post Office services.

As of Friday, March 31, the Seymour Store on Seymour Avenue have been able to bring their customers Post Office and Payzone facilities.

These will be available in the Kilwinning shop from 8am-4.30pm Monday through to Saturday and from 9am-3pm on a Sunday.

The Payzone services will allow customers who need to pay money towards their gas, electricity, water, rent and council tax as well as top up their mobile phone.

And though Post Office services will be available, these will be limited in comparison to those which were offered in the now closed Post Office counter in Main Street.

The Post Office in Seymour Stores will allow for customers to drop off or collect parcels on a daily basis - though these must be pre-paid for the time being.

This means locals who have parcels to be posted don't have to go to a regular Post Office counter. Instead they can come and send from Seymour stores, as long as they have paid for this online beforehand.

Shop owner Tony Fuggle says he is hopeful of being able to operate a full Post Office counter service from his store in future - but is still waiting to hear if this will be possible.

If you have any further questions or queries about what these facilites can be used for, you can call the store on 07917 304595 to find out more.
