UPDATE - Police confirmed on Sunday, May 21, that Jamie Lee has now been traced.
POLICE say they are growing increasingly concerned for a 12-year-old girl who has been reported missing.
Jamie-Lee Harvey was last seen on Tuesday, May 16, when she was known to be on Dixon Drive in the Castlepark area of Irvine.
She was seen in this area at around 8pm that evening and was said to be wearing light blue leggings, a black puffer jacket and white trainers.
Jamie- Lee is described as a white female with long dark brown hair who is around five feet tall and of a slim build.
As time goes on, police say they are now becoming increasingly concerned for Jamie-Lee's welfare.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police have growing concerns for Jamie-Lee as time goes on and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
"Anyone who may have seen Jamie-Lee or has any information on his whereabouts are urged to contact Police via 101 quoting incident 3667 of May 16, 2023.”
