AN Irvine clinic boss has been named as a finalist in Scotland's first Aesthetic Excellence Awards.

Steph Worsley, who runs SW Aesthetics, has made the shortlist in the Best Aesthetic Practitioner category.

Her business in Bank Street - which offers a wide range of treatments from fillers and botox, to a whole range of injectables - only opened last November. It is the only healthcare registered clinic in Irvine

Steph will find out if she has been crowned winner and gets to take the trophy home at an elegant ceremony held on June 24 at Delta Hotels by Marriott in Edinburgh.

She told the Times: “I am so excited and delighted to be nominated for this category in the awards.

"I opened the clinic in November 2022 and have been practising aesthetics since 2017.

"I am proud to be the first registered medical clinic in Irvine and strive to be the best at what I do.

"Since opening we now employ two additional aesthetic nurses and a skin therapist who carries out all things skin and medical grade skin machines.

"Let’s bring an award home to Irvine."

The awards ceremony recognises excellence in the beauty and aesthetics industry.

Whether it’s providing non-surgical or surgical treatments, aesthetician services, or aesthetic nursing services, each finalist has shown an outstanding commitment to their clients and their craft, going above and beyond to provide exceptional results and patient care.
