AN Irvine family are desperately hunting for their missing kitten.
Six month old Jack had been playing with his brother and sister in the garden of the family home in Dickson Drive on May 20.
He was last spotted around Frew Terrace near the Redburn.
Jack is light orange with stripes and spots, with a white underside with a very unique white patch on his back left leg and some white markings on his face.
Owner Craig Cowan said the kitten had been out playing for an hour but didn't return when called.
And he said his seven year old son was "devastated".
Craig told the Times: "My family are missing him so much.
"My wee boy is just seven and he's struggling to get over Jack's disappearance.
"Jack was last seen on Saturday, May 20 on the end of Frew Terrace across from the Redburn.
"He normally never leaves the garden or his brother and sister. I thought if he got scared he might come back, but I have lost faith in him just returning.
"The weather wasn't great but it was still very light when he went missing.
"He normally never leaves the garden or his brother and sister.
"All my cats are missing him, me my son and his mum are missing him so so much.
"I have put posters made up offering rewards for information leading to his recovery but not a word so far."
If you can help, you can call the number on the poster above.
