Children's entertainer Uncle Billy will be putting on free shows in Kilwinning next week.
It forms part of Kilwinning Community Events' summer programme in the park.
Uncle Billy will entertain younger visitors to the town's McGavin Park with free shows between 11.30am and 3pm on Monday, July 17.
A spokesperson for Kilwinning Community Events said: "Uncle Billy in the Park is aimed for our little ones. It is a quieter day aimed at those under eight years of age.
"We held the first of these events as we were coming out of Covid restricted periods.
"They proved successful for our younger visitors, so we’re repeating them as a free to attend event in the park."
In addition for those wanting a bit more the group are offering a chance to play on four inflatables (£1 charge per go or wristband); and a kid's ride (£2 charge per go or wristband).
A wristband costs £6 for unlimited use from 11.30am to 3pm. Wristbands can also be bought in advance - the organisers' preferred way - for a discounted price of £5 from kilwinningcommunityevents.bookwhen.com.
The playground will also be available for all to enjoy.
Teas and coffees will be available at the park, while families are welcome to bring along their own picnics.
The event is weather dependent, so please check before setting out. If bad weather means the event cannot take place, it will be rescheduled to the following week.
Parking is available at Kilwinning Academy.
And remember, the annual Party in the Park will be taking place at the same venue on Thursday, August 10. Keep an eye on the 'Kilwinning Community Events' page on Facebook for updates.
