Stewarton Medical Practice have revealed they have hit full capacity for appointments today - due to "unpredecented demand".
The practice texted patients on Monday afternoon, urging them to only get in touch if it's an emergency.
The message stated: "Due to unprecedented demand, Stewarton Medical Practice has now reached capacity for appointments today.
"Please only contact us if your issues cannot safely wait till another day.
"If you have an appointment pre-booked, please still attend, as these appointments are not affected.
"We appreciate your co-operation at this time."
