The Scottish Maritime Museum is celebrating Maths Week Scotland with a free Nautical Numbers Family Fun Morning at Eglinton Country Park on Saturday, September 30.

From 10am to 2pm, children of all ages, particularly between three - 12 years, will enjoy fun games, a recyclable boat building challenge, creative activities and experience the Museum’s 3D collection remotely using VR goggles in the Racquet Hall.

As well as free snacks, families can take home goody bags packed with ideas for maths-based play.

Tickets are free but booking is essential. To book visit www.scottishmaritimemuseum.org.

After enjoying museum activities, families can also explore Eglinton Park including a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) trail made by North Ayrshire Council’s Countryside Rangers and STEM Education Team.
