Landlords in Ayrshire are running out of time to apply for the new licencing scheme for short-term lets.
All existing hosts must apply by October 1 and all new hosts must obtain a licence before they can accept bookings and welcome guests.
This includes holiday homes, cabins, yurts, flats, cotttages, B&Bs and even spare rooms.
The new licence is a legal obligation for all hosts, even those who occasionally let out a spare room or sub-let while on holiday.
