IRVINE'S household waste recycling centre is to close for one day this weekend.
The Bartonholm Household Waste Recycling Centre will not be open on Saturday, December 9, as usual due to "operational issues".
The centre would typically be open from 10am-4pm that day.
The issue is not expected to persist beyond Saturday, with Bartonholm to be open as normal once again on Sunday, December 10.
North Ayrshire's other household recycling centres - in Arran, Kilbirnie and Largs - will all be open as normal on Saturday for those looking for an alternative.
