The final day of trading has been confirmed for a prominent Irvine business.
The Designer Rooms on Ayr Road will close for the final time on Sunday, March 24 ahead of its move to its new Kilmarnock home.
The Ayrshire business announced earlier this year that it was closing and merging its Irvine and Kilmarnock stores, and moving to a bigger premises in the East Ayrshire town.
The firm will take over the existing Poundstretchers store at Fowlds Street in Kilmarnock - set to become one of the biggest furniture stores in Scotland.
The business already employs more than 100 local people, but new jobs will be created both in-store and behind the scenes as a result of the move.
A spokesperson said: "Our Irvine store MUST close on Sunday 24th of March to let our friends at 123ABC in!
"That means that EVERYTHING must go! From sofas to dining, beds to accessories, our whole store needs to be emptied!"
