BUDDING young footballers were put through their paces at Kilwinning Sports Club as Ian Cashmore's Striker School hosted their Easter training camp.
Training school founder Ian Cashmore was joined by Kilwinning Rangers captain Ben Lewis and Rangers youth coach Jamie Beattie as the talented youngsters in attendance received top coaching as they looked to develop their game.
Former Ayrshire footballer 'Cashy' launched the training school in the summer of 2023 following his own retirement from the game.
He has set out to pass on his years of experience in the game to the next generation, with the coaching sessions proving a big hit since they were launched.
Despite some wet and windy conditions at times the Easter camp was yet another fantastic experience for the dozens of kids who came along on Wednesday, April 10.
"The Easter camp went brilliantly," Ian commented. "There was a great wee turn out again and the kids loved it.
"They scored plenty of goals and had great fun. Thanks to my two coaches, Jamie Beattie and Ben Lewis, who I couldn't do it without, and big shout out to Laura Fitzsimmons for the camera work and all the admin on the day.
"Thanks to Abbey Screen and Digital Print Ltd for helping with the hats, and lastly to the sponsor on the day and my sponsor since I started, Phoenix Taxis and Minibuses - your support is much appreciated."
