The community in Dundonald has launched a fundraiser to raise money for a new defibrillator.
Led by local restaurant The Auchans, the JustGiving page is looking to raise around £1,800 to secure the device.
A restaurant spokesperson said: "Along with a few people from the village we are trying to raise money to buy and install a new defibrillator.
"We feel that with the amount of housing, community buildings and businesses that there is a need for one at the top end of the village.
"Please feel free to share and donate."
