KILWINNING darts stars have made further donations to good causes following their latest event.
Players who compete in the town's Darts Premier League have hosted a number of fundraising tournaments over the years.
Their most recent took place in the Blacklands Bowling Club on Sunday, April 28, with players joining forces in a doubles tournament.
The event, which was sponsored by Ian Cashmore's Striker School, saw an impressive £200 raised.
This sum will be split between the spinal unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital - at the request of sponsor Ian - and the haematology and chemotherapy wards at Crosshouse Hospital.
A total of 32 players took part, meaning 16 teams were in the running. The tournament was kicked off with a group stage with the top teams coming through and into the quarter-finals.
A number of thrilling matches were played thereafter, in a straight knockout format, with Guy Hislop and Lee Hollis coming through to face Brian Wallace and Craig Devlin in the final.
In a very tight final it was Guy and Lee who came out victorious to win the title in what was a great day for some very worthy causes.
