Police in Ayrshire have revealed an increase in bicycle theft in the region.
Officers say that often bikes are left in a common close or garden shed with no additional security.
They are urging locals to consider using measures such as locks or ground anchors.
Registering your bike with Bike Register will increase the chance of it being returned to you if it stolen.
