Let your dogs take the lead in a novel business networking initiative coming to Ayrshire in support of a great cause.

The Net-Wagging event, run by Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Scottish SPCA, involves paw-some pups and their helpful humans meeting up for a walk, a chat and some refreshments.

Chamber CEO Claire Baird said: “Everyone loves going for a walk with their dog, and we thought – what better way to get people together and talking?

“Networking is so important when you’re running a small business; whether it’s meeting a potential new client, making a key connection or taking your business to the next level, it can make all the difference.

"The exercise is good for your health, too.

“In addition to all that, this event will be supporting one of our members, the Scottish SPCA, which I think is a cause we can all get behind.

"They make such a difference to so many animals all over Scotland, and we’re delighted to give them any help we can.”

Net-wagging will be held from 10am to midday on Friday, June 21 at Prestwick Promenade.

Everyone will meet outside Cafe Mancini and then walk in groups along the beach front, before meeting up again at the cafe for tea, coffee, ice cream and more chat.

There will also be an exclusive sneak peek behind the scenes at Cafe Mancini, giving a rare glimpse at how the cafe team operates and how the ice cream is made.
