Traffic Scotland has revealed that the Three Towns bypass is set for overnight lane closures next week for barrier repairs.
And more roadworks planned for the A78 at the end of the month will see the westbound lanes for the same bypass closed overnight, with a diversion in place.
The first work will be taking place at the southbound lane at the Sharphill Roundabout from Monday, September 16 to Wednesday, September 18.
The closure will begin on Monday evening at 8pm, with the lane reopening at 6am on Tuesday morning.
It will then close from 8pm on Tuesday night and reopen at 6am on Wednesday morning.
Then on Wednesday, September 25, the whole westbound section of the bypass will close overnight for utility works from 8pm to 5am the following day.
A similar closure will be in place from 8pm on the Thursday evening (September 26) until 5am on Friday, September 27.
A diversion will take drivers from the A78 – left onto A738 – Hayocks Roundabout second exit onto Glencairn St – High Rd – Parkhouse Rd – Eglington Rds

The move follows six weeks of roadworks at the Sharphill roundabout, which began on July 29.
